A Tough opening hole, with bunkers left and right, and out of bounds for any long shots. A two-tiered green which slopes towards the stream makes this a real challenge to start your round

Arguably the toughest hole in Ballinascorney. While looking straightforward, the fairway cambers to the right. Big hitters may get there in two but the risk/reward can get swallowed up in the creek in front of the green that slopes from right to left.

The shortest par 4 on the course, this uphill hole is reachable for a long driver. But OOB lurks on three sides of this sloping green - with a premium on accuracy with your drive and approach.

A short par 5 on paper but not in effort, the long driver may reach the corner with a view of the green at the top of the hill. Any errant shots can be swallowed by rough on the left or OOB on the right. Once in view, the green is protected by a steep bunker in front and OOB behind.

The thatch roof in a distance is a good line to start your tee shot

Again, the yardage is short but the hole is not an easy one. Anything other than dead centre leaves tree trouble on your approach. A steep bunker guards the small and undulating green where 2 putts is a good result.

Breathtaking views of the Dublin cityscape can distract you from an extremely difficult tee shot. 225 yards to find the putting surface on a sloping green guarded by bunker in front trees behind. Par is a very good score here, birdies are few and far between
